We’re reimagining preventative care

Savo builds solutions that make proven chronic disease prevention programs work for the people who need them most.

Who We Are

In service of community-based preventative health

Savo Health identifies where preventative health programs fail to reach the people who need them and builds the infrastructure to close that gap. We partner with health plans, community care hubs, nonprofits, and the philanthropies that fund them; working at the intersection of clinical evidence, community trust, and technology.

Built for outcomes, not just operations

Decades of research have produced proven frameworks for preventing chronic disease. Turning that evidence into realized health outcomes in communities is a separate endeavor. Savo takes what the research shows is possible and translates it into accessible programs and services.

How we work

Identify the barrier
We go deep into the structural why behind community outcomes.

Unlock it We build custom solutions that directly address those barriers, including tools and engagement methods designed for the populations and organizations that are consistently underserved by existing platforms.

Scale what works
We measure, document, and share what produces results, so that community organizations, health plans, and funders can replicate what works and stop funding what doesn't.

Our inaugural solution is Mile 22, built to close the access and delivery gap in lifestyle change diabetes prevention. It is the first of many.

Our inaugural solution:

Mile 22

Reducing A1C in high-risk populations

Mile 22 deploys a community care model to help high-risk patients reduce their A1C through the CDC-recognized National Diabetes Prevention Program. By removing the operational burden that shuts most programs down and equipping health coaches with tools to improve retention, Mile 22 makes clinical-grade T2D prevention more accessible in the neighborhoods that need it most.
